Fabric Design and Development

This was a fun learning experience.  We partnered with a fabric mill to develop and test 30 different dobbies to understand how the differences in the patterns affected the performance characteristics of the fabrics.  We designed 30 different fabrics and tested them for tearing strength, abrasion resistance, and learned a great deal about fabric design, construction and performance.
